Why We Built This Site
Arkansas uses Search ARCourts to make an index of cases from many courts searchable in one place. That index can show participants, a judge, filings, charges or dispositions, future events, and some linked documents, but it is not the official court record and not every court or document is available online. The Circuit Clerk keeps Circuit Court records in each county; District Court records are maintained by the relevant court or local clerk office. Public access also follows Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 19, which has exclusions and case-specific restrictions. The point of this guide is to help readers identify the right search path and then reach the custodian for a complete or certified record.
What You Will Find Here
- Case types: guides to criminal court dockets and civil court dockets in Arkansas
- Hearing settings: ways to read the court schedule and confirm a case date
- Search paths: instructions for using Docket Search to find a case by name or number
- Copies and filings: an overview of court case records and requests to the proper custodian
- Court structure: a map of the Arkansas court structure and the records held at each level
- Local offices: the county directory for Arkansas's 75 counties
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, separate from Arkansas courts, clerks, and state agencies. We can explain where to look, but we cannot:
- Issue an official docket sheet or copy of a court file
- Reset or confirm a hearing date on behalf of a court
- Change, seal, or remove a case from an Arkansas docket
- Provide legal advice about a charge, order, or filing deadline
- Certify a judgment or any other court document
- Guarantee that a court's fees, procedures, or schedule have not changed
Only the county clerk or the court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some search boxes on this site are operated by outside providers. Their results, privacy practices, and prices are set by those providers. If a visitor signs up for a paid service through a referral link, we may receive a fee; the provider controls what it charges and returns. Search ARCourts and other official court services are operated separately by Arkansas courts and agencies.
