Privacy Policy

This policy describes information that may be collected during a visit to Arkansas Court Docket, how it is used, and the circumstances in which it may be disclosed. By continuing to use the site, you agree to the practices set out on this page.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

A name or case number entered into one of our search tools is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool, which processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms ourselves.

Messages and Contact Submissions

We retain an email or contact message so our team can respond. We do not disclose that correspondence outside the organization unless the law requires us to do so.

Data We Gather Automatically

When you open a page, the site may receive technical information about that visit, such as:

  • The time and date of a page view
  • Your device and operating-system type
  • The referring site, when one is provided
  • Your browser name and version
  • The pages visited and time spent on them
  • The IP address associated with the device

Cookies and Analytics

This site uses cookies, small files saved on a device, to understand traffic patterns such as frequently visited pages and where visits end. Analytics providers help combine those statistics. You can block cookies in your browser; if you do, some site features may not work in the same way.

What We Do With This Data

  • Identifying and repairing site errors
  • Routing a search query to the provider that handles it
  • Maintaining site performance and availability
  • Measuring which pages are useful to visitors
  • Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests

No Court-Record Data on File

Arkansas Court Docket does not host or sell a database of court dockets or personal case files. It offers general information about Search ARCourts and the court offices that maintain Arkansas records, including Circuit Clerks and local District Court offices across 75 counties. Access to court records follows Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 19, with its rules on public access and confidentiality; the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, Ark. Code Ann. §25-19-101 et seq., also applies as provided by law. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not compiled here into consumer reports about other people.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside companies operate the search boxes. A query entered there is handled under that company's privacy notice and data-retention choices, which we do not control. Read the provider's policy before you submit information.

Links to Other Websites

Our links include Arkansas Circuit Clerk pages, court portals, Search ARCourts, legal-aid resources, and independent search tools. Following a link takes you to another operator's website and privacy terms; check those terms before sharing personal information.

Some advertising partners may use their own systems to track browsing across websites for targeted ads. We do not operate that tracking.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal information. Information may be provided to service providers or government authorities in these circumstances:

  • Government or law-enforcement authorities when legally required
  • Analytics providers measuring visits and site performance
  • Advertising networks that serve ads on the site
  • Search providers that receive queries submitted through their tools

How We Protect Your Data

We use customary security measures to protect information collected by the site. Online systems cannot be guaranteed free from every risk, so we cannot promise that a security incident will never occur.

Users Under 18

The site is intended for adults and we do not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If you believe a minor submitted information, contact us and we will remove it promptly.

Your Data Rights

Arkansas's Personal Information Protection Act includes security and breach-notification provisions, including Ark. Code Ann. §4-110-105. It does not make the requests below general statutory rights. You may contact us to ask voluntarily that we:

  • Provide a copy of information we maintain about you, if any
  • Correct information that is inaccurate
  • Delete information we hold when we can do so
  • Stop certain uses of information where applicable

Search ARCourts queries and court-file requests go to the court or record custodian, not to this website. Requests under Arkansas law remain subject to the applicable statute, Administrative Order 19, and any court order.

Updates to This Policy

We may revise this policy as the site or applicable practices change. The current version will appear here with a revised effective date; review it periodically if you want to follow those changes.
